Zaryadye Concert Hall

The Zaryadye Concert Hall in Moscow, operating under the auspices of a state-funded cultural institution, is an outstanding cultural venue located in the picturesque Zaryadye Park at 6 Varvarka Street, Building 4. Since its opening in 2018, the hall has gained recognition as one of Moscow’s leading attractions, receiving the title «Project of the Year» and winning the award for the best cultural and educational construction according to a vote by the city’s residents.

The architectural design of the concert hall impresses with its originality and harmonious integration with the park’s artificial landscape. A particular highlight is the «glass crust» — a transparent structure without traditional walls, offering breathtaking views of the Kremlin, the historic districts of the city, and the Moskva River. The complex also includes two open amphitheaters: one seating 1,600 spectators, and the other with a media screen accommodating 400 people.

The Large Hall of Zaryadye is Russia’s first transformable concert hall, which, thanks to modern mechanisms, can adapt to various types of performances. It features circular acoustic seating and can accommodate up to 1,531 guests, including 16 seats for people with disabilities. The stage covers 325.6 m² and is equipped with 23 lifting platforms. The stage height reaches up to 15 meters, and the width ranges from 17 to 21 meters.

The Small Hall can host up to 393 people and offers two seats for visitors with disabilities. Thanks to the absence of a fixed stage, performers can be on the same level as the audience; if needed, the space can be easily transformed using a mobile podium.

On February 29, 2020, the Large Hall heard the sound of a unique organ for the first time, whose construction and tuning took more than two years. This instrument has become a significant part of Moscow’s cultural life, and its inauguration lasted a full day.
