The Bolshoi Theatre will host a tour of the St. Petersburg State Academic Ballet Theatre of Boris Eifman with the ballet "Eugene Onegin".
The performance "Eugene Onegin" is a version of the novel in verse by A.S. Pushkin, imposed on choreography. Pushkin's heroes have become iconic characters of our time, who have gone through an anxious era of change, living at the turn of the century. An unexpected combination of works by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky and rock music by composer Alexander Sitkovetsky allows viewers to become more deeply imbued with the choreographer's vision.
